For the third time in the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Karelia, young activists, under the guidance of experienced mentors, talked about the development of small territories, the creation of public and museum spaces, the actualization of ethnocultural heritage through crafts, looked for modern and in-demand methods and forms of work, created new teams to further implement their ideas.

The program of the session also included lectures on the indigenous peoples of Karelia and opportunities for their ethnocultural development, project management, measures of state support for entrepreneurship, modern information threats that young professionals may face in their work.

The young activists became participants in the discussion platform How to tell about ethnocultural heritage through the senses and had the opportunity to communicate with famous people for whom the languages and culture of indigenous peoples are a way of life and a source of inspiration.

The participants of the educational event got acquainted with the best practices of the Publishing House Periodica, including the House of Friendship of the Peoples of the Republic of Karelia and the Resource Language Media Center, and also saw successful examples of using the ethno-cultural component in their activities, visiting public, exhibition, craft spaces, as well as business sites in Petrozavodsk and Pryazha.

The result of the work was the protection of project ideas, which, with the further methodological support of mentors, can be finalized before project applications and submitted to federal grant competitions and to the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Karelia.
