Republican stage of the contest ‘Master of Ossetian Artistic Speech’

On 16 October the republican stage of the contest ‘Master of the Ossetian Artistic Word’ was held on the basis of the municipal budgetary general education institution secondary school No. 27 named after Y.S. Kuchiev.

The competition was held as part of the celebration of the 165th anniversary of the birth of Kosta Khetagurov with the aim of increasing the interest of students in the performing arts, popularising the reading of fiction and expanding the reading horizons of schoolchildren.

The Contest was attended by students of 8-11 classes of general educational organisations of the republic in nominations:

the best individual performance of the work of Kosta Levanovich Khetagurov;

the best author’s work dedicated to Kosta Khetagurov.

The total number of participants in the competition was 36 people. The total number of winners and prize-winners was 24 people, including 11 winners and 13 prize-winners. All winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science.

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages.
