Native language and writing day in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) – Celebration dedicated to the Day of the native language and writing in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

On February 13, 2022, celebration was held in honor of the Day of the Native Language and Writing in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The event was on the TV channel of the national broadcasting company “Sakha”. At the gala evening, awards were presented by the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the field of preservation, study and development of the state language of Sakha and the official languages of the republic (Even, Evenki, Chukchi, Yukagir, Dolgan). The coordinator of the main event was the Department for the Development of Languages of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Every year, the republican local mass media cover the Day of the native language and writing in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
According to media plans, information about upcoming and ongoing events is posted in republican and regional publications, online publications, broadcast in news stories, television and radio programs on the channel of the national broadcasting company Sakha.
