The interregional contest of performers of Tatar song and instrumental music “Ural Sandugachy” is held on March 11-12, 2023 at the Sverdlovsk State Regional Palace of Folk Art at the address: Yekaterinburg, 12 Festivalnaya Street.

The event is a qualifying round of the International Television Contest “Tatars of Mona” named after I. Shakirov.
Soloists-vocalists, vocal and vocal-instrumental ensembles, performers on musical instruments are invited to participate in the competition.

Festival nominations:

– solo singing;

– vocal, vocal and instrumental ensembles;

– instrumental creativity.

The curator of the competition is the consultant of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan Yusupov Rifat Rashidovich.

The contest is held with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk region, the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars, the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Sverdlovsk region, the Regional Public Organization “Congress of Tatars (Tatars of the Urals) of the Sverdlovsk region”, the Sverdlovsk State Regional Palace of Folk Art.

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages. Please note that the platform has been inactive since February 2025 and no longer accepts new uploads. While work is underway to provide an updated solution, the Secretariat of IDIL 2022–2032 remains available for any inquiries at: indigenous.languages@unesco.org.
