The action dedicated to the International Day of the Indigenous Peoples of the World was held by specialists of the Sakhalin Regional Universal Scientific Library on August 9 at the Mayak Art residence. Its participants were children attending the summer camp of school No. 13 of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Young islanders were told about this holiday, reminded about the indigenous peoples of the Sakhalin region, and also showed books from the collections of the Sakhalin Regional Universal Scientific Library dedicated to this topic. At the end, the participants of the action were shown the laboratory theater project “Nivkhsu” of the Sakhalin Regional Center of Folk Art.
