On September 15, the library’s readers met with the widow, Matushka Svetlana (Kobeleva). The topic of the meeting is not easy – the analysis of the poem by St. Joasaph of Belgorod “The Battle of the honest seven virtues with seven mortal sins”. The author of the modern poetic translation from Church Slavonic into modern language was Svetlana’s husband, a member of the Union of Writers and the Union of Journalists, Archpriest Igor Kobelev. My mother read fragments of the text and commented on the chapters. Svetlana managed to show the beauty and vivid imagery of the poem of the Belgorod miracle worker.
