Ivan Sandrin, a language activist from Yamal, visited young speakers of the Khanty language
On November 24, 2022, the youth expert of the Russian North Forum, Ivan Sandrin, visited the participants of short-term profile shifts on creativity and ecology in Salekhard.
An expert on the Khanty language and culture, Ivan Sandrin spoke about the “Khanty Mons” comics he created in the Khanty language and shared his plans to make an animated movie.
At the master class, Ivan spoke about the history of the creation of the “Khanty Mons” comics, explained the rules for drawing details of comics.
At the master class, 20 children tried to create their own comics based on the folklore of the Khanty people.
