On May 25, 2024, the VIII Regional Festival-Competition of Mordovian Art for Children and Youth "Siyan Bayaginet" ("Silver Bells") was held in the Ulyanovsk region. The festival featured the following categories:
Folklore:This category showcased performance skills in recreating song, dance, and instrumental forms of folklore in a historically authentic manner, taking into account dialectal and stylistic features of the region. Subcategories included: best choreographic performance, best vocal performance, and best theatrical performance.
Artistic Word
Drawing Competition: The theme for the drawings was "My Happy Family", "Mom, Dad, Me - a Mordovian Family", "National Traditions of My Family", "A.F. Yurtov - the First Educator of the Mordovian People," etc.

The festival aims to preserve and develop the traditions of Mordovian culture, identify and support talented children by introducing them to the culture of this ancient people.
432 people from 57 institutions participated in the festival. This included 31 preschool institutions (16 from the city of Ulyanovsk), 3 city schools, 1 institution of additional education from the city of Ulyanovsk, 16 municipal preschool organizations, and 6 municipal educational schools.
