This colorful musical-culinary, family-friendly holiday took place on August 14, in the old center of Biysk in the Leonid Garkavy Park of Culture and Recreation.
The International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples was established by the UN General Assembly in 1994 and is celebrated annually on August 9. The number of indigenous peoples on the planet is 476 million people. There are 40 indigenous peoples in Russia who live in Siberia, the North of the country and the Far East and carefully preserve the traditions and way of life of their ancestors, the traditional way of life and crafts.
