gallery | NEAPOLITAN VADEMECUM: NUCERIA TESORO CAMPANO
NUCERIA TESORO CAMPANO is a vademecum to learn Neapolitan language and grammar, according to the teachings of Professors Carlo Iandolo, Raffaele Bracale and Renato De Falco, written by Massimiliano Verde, president of the Accademia Napoletana.
In Italy, Neapolitan, although it has received an ISO code from UNESCO (NAP), is not recognized as a language, is not included in public education programs and is very often considered in a paternalistic or degraded form. For this reason, we have published this book as a useful vademecum to learn the most basic notions of Neapolitan grammar and language. It also pays homage to the ancient land of Nuceria that in pre-Latin times, thanks to the Oscan populations, gave an impetus to today's Neapolitan language and culture.
This book was introduced at the "Napoli Città Libro Salone del Libro di Napoli " (Book and Publishing Fair, June, 2024) and at the 4th International Book Fair of Art, Culture and Education 2024, (from October 15 to 18, 2024) in virtual mode so organized by the International Circle of Writers "Letras del mundo" with the support of the International Cultural Sur Project (in the South-Southeast of Mexico), the "Red Internacional de Investigadores de Lenguas, Literatura y Educación" , the Center for Cultural and Artistic Research of Chiapas (CICACH), the Mexican Culture Seminar (Tuxtla Gutiérrez Correspondent's Office, Chiapas) and the "Viento al hombro" Publishing House of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas.
