The Don State Public Library presents the project «Indigenous languages of Russia» within the framework of the International Decade of the Languages of the Indigenous Peoples of the World. The fourth episode is dedicated to the Altai language: how the Altai language was called before, how many dialects of the Altai language exist and why it is so difficult to determine the number of speakers of the Altai language.
