Grandpa loves to fish, but he can never fish in the lake near his house in case El Tabudo catches him. This is the story of how El Tabudo came to serve the Queen Under the Sea.

This traditional story from El Salvador is told by the character of Grandpa as Andres and Gloria wonder if he is really telling the truth about the rich man who disappeared while fishing in the lake high in the mountains.

To assist in language acquisition, this book was made with the help of a native Spanish speaker from El Salvador and a native Nawat speaker. The character of "El Tabudo" was renamed "Ne Lujlun Takamichin" in Nahuat to make him more mysterious while drawing upon traditional Pipil terminology. Consequently, the title of the book was also changed, but the main content of the story remains essentially the same. However, some minor changes in the text have also been included to challenge young readers with a keen eye to find them.
