VILLAGE VISIT PROGRAMME

Bharat Jakat Majhi Pargana Mahal, Mednipur District Committee with the help of Block Committee (Muluk Mahal) and Majhi Morehor (Village Administrator) of Gurutopal Village was organised Village Visit Programme on 5th November 2022 at Gurutopal Village. In Social and Economic development of a community there are a big role of Administration system. In the Santal Community, there is already a traditional social system called “Majhi Pargana Bebostha.” But the people of the community are not developed, so our motive is to find a path of development through Social System as well as Individual level. In this Campaign Majhibaba (Head of the Village) of this region and their Co- Administrator were present. Pargana Babas of Block Committee (Muluk Mahal) were also present in this activity.

Resource Person –

1. Mr. Dilip Mandi, whos is Jogo Pargana Pargana Baba of Zilla Mahal (District Committee) and Also a School Teacher.
2. Mr. Aampa Kumar Hembrom, Assistant Professor of Santali Language and Literature of Govt. General Degree College at salboni, Paschim Mednipur, West Bengal. He is also Advisor of Zilla Mahal (District Committee).

The theme of the campaign is mainly Village Development issues. The sub-themes are divided into two parts:

1. Economic Development: Participants are discussing economic development issues at the community and individual level. Main Education, Career Counseling, Skill Development, Preparation of Job, Business, Business, Loan, Education Loan, Student Credit Card are the subject of this sub theme.
2. Village Administration – Majhi Ari (Village Administration system in Santal Community), 73rd Amendment of Constitution, Gram Sabha, Gram Panchayat Development Plan, Public Service Delivery, Social Audit are the subject of this sub theme.
