The 2023 Fellowship Showcase
Over the past 10 weeks, our 6 fellows have met with 7000 Languages staff and each other to learn best practices and techniques for documentation and recording– building towards the ultimate goal of empowering community members to lead language revitalization efforts in their local communities.
7000 Languages staff has assisted each Fellow in the creation of their own language resources, developed and owned by the Fellows and their language community, to utilize as a resource. At the end of the Fellowship, our fellows have created at least one full course in their endangered language that will be published and shared publicly.
We are hosting this showcase with the goal of supporting and congratulating our Fellows on their incredible accomplishments. We want their hard work to be appreciated and shared with you all. During this showcase, each of our Fellows will present on their new courses, the experience they had working with 7000 Languages and what their hopes and goals are for the future.
Please help us celebrate our incredible Fellows, engross yourself in a variety of cultures, and learn more about our organization’s goals to empower communities to teach, learn and sustain their endangered language.
