On November 6, the Folk Art Center, together with the A. Aydamirov National Library,
held the annual Republican Festival of Folk Art of Ethnocultural Centers of the
Chechen Republic, “Shine of Cultures.”
The festival, which took place at the Chervlennaya Cultural Center in the Shelkovsky
Municipal District, was dedicated to:
• National Unity Day.
• The Year of History, Historical Monuments, Architecture, and Cultural Heritage of the
Chechen People.
• The Year of the Family.
Opening Ceremony
The event began with a welcoming speech from Shamkhan Vakhaevich Arsunkaev,
First Deputy Head of the Shelkovsky Municipal District Administration. He expressed
gratitude to the participants and wished them continued creative success.
Festival Highlights
The concert program was a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity, with representatives
of various ethnic groups performing songs, dances, and folklore compositions.
“Skilled Hands” Exhibition
In the foyer of the Cultural Center, an exhibition of decorative, applied, and fine arts
titled “Skilled Hands” was displayed, showcasing the craftsmanship of talented artisans.
Closing and Awards
The “Shine of Cultures” festival concluded with an awards ceremony, where all creative
ensembles, solo performers, and exhibition participants received colorful diplomas in
recognition of their talent and contribution.
This festival of friendship, brotherhood, and solidarity highlighted the unity of the many
diverse peoples of our multinational republic.
