Regarding the development and publication of the Yakut-Russian terminological dictionary on animal husbandry with an additional section on horse-drawn transport, the staff of the Institute for Humanitarian Research and Problems of Indigenous Peoples of the North of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences selected a vocabulary on the topic of the study. Archival materials and special literature on cattle breeding, dictionaries, popular science literature on the topic, journalism, etc. served as sources for the vocabulary of the dictionary. The main criterion for choosing a vocabulary is the principle of relevance and frequency of use.

A list of terms has been compiled, their inventory has been made on the basis of normative dictionaries, the meanings of terms and combinations have been clarified, and equivalents of meanings from the Russian language have been selected.

The dictionary includes more than 3,000 most common words and phrases that form the basis of terminological vocabulary for animal husbandry. It is intended primarily for schoolchildren, teachers, as well as for students and those who are interested in the terminology of the Yakut language.

The manuscript of the dictionary, which includes more than 3,000 of the most common words and phrases that form the basis of the terminological vocabulary for animal husbandry, with additional sections “Cartage”, “Dairy products”, “Meat, fish products”, was generally edited with the participation of scientific consultants. About 300 copies are planned for publication in December 2022.

The composition of the working group for the development of the Russian-Yakut legal dictionary: terms of criminal law and procedure was approved, which included scientists from the Yakut language department of the Institute for Humanitarian Studies and Problems of Indigenous Peoples of the North of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, teachers from the Department of Stylistics and Russian-Yakut Translation of the Institute of Languages and Cultures of the Peoples of the North-East of the Russian Federation of the North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov, as well as a practicing translator who performs Russian-Yakut and Yakut-Russian translations in the preliminary investigation bodies. There are only 5 specialists in the working group.

Instructions for compiling a dictionary have been developed, which reflect the basic requirements for the glossary formation and for the structure and compilation of a dictionary. A list of texts, documents in Russian is compiled, which are the source of terms and concepts of criminal law and process, included in the glossary of the developed dictionary. A list of dictionaries (of the Yakut language, bilingual, terminological) has been formed, which will serve as a basis for the selection of the Yakut equivalents of terms. This includes 37 sources published from 1935 to the present.

The glossary has been formed by selecting terms and concepts of criminal law and process from the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, legal dictionaries, and includes more than 4000 terms and concepts.
