On 16 December 2022, the President of the 77th session of the General Assembly, Csaba KŐRÖSI, will convene a high-level event to launch of the 2022-2032 International Decade of Indigenous Languages in New York, in line with the 2022 General Assembly resolution 75/168.
The high-level event will take place at the GA Hall at the United Nations Headquarters from 10am to 1pm. Indigenous Peoples representatives and NGOs in Consultative Status with ECOSOC are welcome to register here.
