This conversation is part of a 24-hour digital marathon that will take place on Clubhouse on May 25 to celebrate Africa Day 2022.

Join our panel of brilliant speakers who will talk about the preservation, revitalisation and promotion of African indigenous languages and cultures this Wednesday in the Africa Day club on Cluhouse at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time or 5:00 p.m. UTC.

Our theme for Africa Day this year is “Sustaining a Healthy Africa” which aligns with the African Union’s theme, “The Year of Nutrition for Africa”. Throughout the day’s festivities, we will be taking over Clubhouse’s platform and hosting a day’s worth of conversations about various important topics such as food conservation, African indigenous languages and African spirituality as well as poetry, musical performances, and keynote speeches from esteemed guests.

About Africa Day

“Africa Day (formerly African Freedom Day and African Liberation Day) is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organization of African Unity which took place on 25th May 1963. It is celebrated in various countries on the African continent, as well as around the world. The organization was transformed into the African Union (@africanunion_officialpage ) on 9th July 2002 in Durban, South Africa, but the holiday continues to be celebrated worldwide annually on 25th May.
